Our goal for 2030

Procurement is sustainable when we can guarantee products and services we purchase and use to have a minimal environmental footprint and positive social impact. A crucial aspect for our “Making Progress” approach, based on collaboration with all our suppliers worldwide and sharing values and goals to pursue specific and measurable initiatives.

95% of suppliers is also qualified according to ESG criteria

Our 2030 goals include a commitment to foster our set of suppliers qualified according to sustainability standards for each type of procurement, from 81% in 2021 to 95% of our suppliers qualified according to ESG parameters.

Thanks to the implementation of the Ecovadis Platform, assessment is managed by an organisation specialised in measuring the “ESG Rating” of suppliers. Such ESG ranking criteria are going to be ever more specific by product category and geographic area being factored ever more closely into our choice of companies we plan to work with.

Our achievements 2021

Closer to our target. 95% sustainable procurement is a goal we consider increasingly closer to being achieved; we are measuring our progress in this respect.

81%

of suppliers were also qualified according to ESG parameters in 2021 (in 2020 this figure was 50%).

New Code of Conduct: We require 100% of our suppliers abide by it
