Printing activities have an environmental impact to be carefully assessed, as they involve the use of ink, toner and other elements to be pondered better. Fedrigoni is not only concerned with the responsible production of its papers and self-adhesive materials, but also with outlining how a printing process can be sustainable.
We have identified 10 aspects toward this aim, from inks used for printing, to certificates; from energy use, to how to achieve special effects, to offsetting carbon emissions.
We discuss them in detail in this Bit on Sustainability.
Bits on Sustainability are edited by Fedrigoni’s Sustainability Team and are part of the Group commitment to spreading a culture of sustainability.
